The Florida Life!

Over the weekend we went to the Florida Aquarium. I was so excited to see all the different types of fish, birds, plants, animals and reptiles.... ok not pleased to see the reptiles or SHARKS. While watching the shark tank they would swim around turn and look they were coming right at you. Completely creepy. Thank goodness for 12 inches of super thick glass :) A gal at work caught a shark and of course let it go but she loved it. I was like um lol no I would completely freak out.
They had jellyfish oh and a Dori like fish. This tank was cool they had designed a little place with legos. Oh and what place in Florida wouldn't be complete without a gator? Look at this dude. I think hes intimidating for such a small gator.

He Asked!

Over the weekend we went to the Florida Aquarium and then we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant where Jerry proposed!!! Its something I'll never forget.... I can't stop smiling :) We've spent 6 years together and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Downtown...

Over the weekend Jerry and I went to Downtown Disney. I love everything Disney/Pixar so I was super excited. It was scorching hot outside but the boat rides, movies and walking around made it worth it :) Even though I live in Orlando I don't really go that often. But when I do go I always have to go to Goof's Candy Co., VinylNation, Basin and of course the super huge Disney store. Goofy's Candy Co. has the most amazing Peanut Butter cookies ever and a tons of other sweets.

VinylNation always has something new whether its a new line of blind box Mickeys, Star Wars art on the walls or large Mickey's in the showcase I'm always wanting more then I need lol. Oh look at the Mickey lights..... they don't sell them but I want to make them cause these are to adorable :)  The Mickey chandelier is a must have for any room lol..... I love the bright colors.

I could go there everyday and not get bored.... Oh and their opening a Splitsville there soon. YAY!

Oh Sally! Review

About a month ago I received my first VoxBox from Influenster. Influenster is a community of people who get to test products and give feedback based on their findings. To find out more info about the program click here. Oh and its free to join :)

One of the items I received for testing was Sally Hansen's Salon Effects. My first impression was hmmm I'm not a cheetah kinda girl but I'll give it a whirl. I'm always painting my nails and I thought this would be better since they're pre-made designs and probably won't have the overwhelming nail polish smell.

After putting the Salon Effects on my nails I'm over all happy with the product. They are easy to use (5 simple steps), they don't take up to much time, they are super shiny (I added a top coat) and last quite awhile. I can't wait to try some other designs. Sephora has some OPI ones I've been eying for awhile too.

Shining

Hi everyone. I hope your having a great weekend! I just wanted to share a few of my go to nail polishes for this Spring. They're pastel and remind me of Easter eggs lol :) I've really been liking these brands but I use the essence polishes more. They have a semi wide variety of colors, their inexpensive and last a really long time (I found mine at Ulta).

So the color names from left to right are.... Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme wear in #340 Mint Sorbet, essie #478 Nude Beach, Zoya in Megan, essence #53 you belong to me, #70 nude it! and #44 modern romance.

*This is not sponsored. These are my own opinions.

5 Things You Don't Know About Me

Here are a few things you might not know about me. Just a few random facts :)

1. My dad is a farmer (his second job). Yep. I grew up on a farm sorta well my grandpa lives at the farm and we live down the road. I used to spend my spring breaks cutting/stacking wood, summers bailing hay/straw and picking rocks in the field. What fun.... NOT.... but I got to spend time with dad and grandpa, get a farmers tan, and build a little arm muscle lol.

2. I used to show sheep in 4-H for eight years. I would name them.... Oh how I remember John Smith and Pocahontas. I tried to find a pic but I think there all in Michigan :(

3. When I visit family in the winter up north I like refuse to drive in the snow since a incident a few years back. I hate black ice.

4. I'm super afraid of heights so planes are always a trip!

5. I hate/terrified of snakes.

Could Be Better

The past few days I haven't felt the best. It's the allergy and nasty cold combo. Yesterday I went through a entire box of Kleenex like it was nothing lol. But I feel like its starting to pass thank god. The weather here in Florida has been so crazy. I get so excited when its super cold then all the sudden it 89 the next day :( I think the climate needs to decide to stay one temperature. Anyway its Wednesday...YAY! Half way through the work week. I can't wait for the weekend. So many things to do and hopefully I'll be able to sew a bit: )
