Its Tuesday already... This week is going by so fast. Over the weekend Tori came over and we did some sewing. I'm almost
finished with two purses and hopefully I'll finish them later this week.
I also have been busy creating a motion graphics piece. I do love some After Effects. For those of you that don't know the program you can edit (sorta), change video color, add 2d and 3d effects. The possibilities are endless :) also Video Copilot with Andrew Kramer has some amazing AE tutorials. I can spend hours just looking at his videos for inspiration/knowledge. He's one talented fella. I want to own all his plug-ins so badly especially optical flares :)

A Year Older!
Today is my 26th Birthday. I feel so much older especially when my some of my hobbies include crocheting and sewing lol.
After work Jerry surprised me with my favorite roses and took me to Carrabba's:) I love Italian food. Oh if you ever go there you should try the Chocolate Bread Pudding its yummy. Then we went to the movies and I got a Red Velvet Cupcake. I think he has a few other surprises up his sleeve.....time will tell.

2012 Resolutions
I have a few New Year resolutions this year. Kinda a piece of cake.
1. Eat less cupcakes. Yes I do love sweets but I'm going to cut back.
2. Try to minimize my Diet Coke intake. I drink way to much....
3. Draw a few Art Pieces. Maybe of family pets.
I think these are doable. The first two are going to be tough.

New Year!
I hope you all had a great New Years!
2012 is going to be awesome I just know it. 2011 wasn't the best. I moved from Tampa to Orlando and had to say goodbye to a few friends (I see them sometimes but schedules conflict). Also I don't think I ever shared this on my blog but I lost my job last May since my employers at the time were going through some economic hardships and I was one of the first things to go:( I was their only full time employee. It was a blow but I kinda knew it was coming. So yeah I was unemployed for about six and a half months. It sucked. It was a financial strain and a hole lotta stress. Then I found a new amazing Multimedia Design job in November and guess what it relates to the beauty industry. I get to design, edit videos, and code sites. I'm an all around-er :) The people there are nice and I can't wait to grow with the company. Fingers crossed 2012 has a few surprises and amazing adventures.
Are you looking forward to anything in particular for 2012?

After Christmas
I hope you had an awesome Christmas! Mine was a little different. Normally I go back to Michigan and spent time with my family but this year I had to stay in Florida so I went to Jerry's parents. I'm not going to lie I was having a really hard time. Christmas is my favorite holiday, it was super hot here, and I miss my family so it was so so.
Although I did have an awesome weekend visiting friends, shopping, crocheting, seeing some weird light exhibit (they had creepy plastic Santa's and stuffed toys), and spending time with the Killebrew's (Jerry's family).

A Few Things...
Last night I was looking on Youtube for a few final DIY ideas for gifts but instead I was kinda intrigued by some Christmas decorating ideas. I get distracted so easily. Anyway here are a few that I thought were clever.
This geometric wreath idea from Meg Allan Cole is super simple and cute.
I love bath products so why not make my own bath bombs? This gal has a tutorial for moisturizing bath bombs.
A feather boa, fiesta, tinsel, and woodland tree. Why not??? This is such a clever idea. I never knew you could use a tomato cage to create a festive tree.
I love this cute lil mustache mug.

Do you still have some shopping/hand making to do?
