5 Things You Don't Know About Me

Here are a few things you might not know about me. Just a few random facts :)

1. My dad is a farmer (his second job). Yep. I grew up on a farm sorta well my grandpa lives at the farm and we live down the road. I used to spend my spring breaks cutting/stacking wood, summers bailing hay/straw and picking rocks in the field. What fun.... NOT.... but I got to spend time with dad and grandpa, get a farmers tan, and build a little arm muscle lol.

2. I used to show sheep in 4-H for eight years. I would name them.... Oh how I remember John Smith and Pocahontas. I tried to find a pic but I think there all in Michigan :(

3. When I visit family in the winter up north I like refuse to drive in the snow since a incident a few years back. I hate black ice.

4. I'm super afraid of heights so planes are always a trip!

5. I hate/terrified of snakes.

Sweet Lemon

I wanted to share this recipe I found over the weekend for Lemon Cookies. Its so delicious and if you like lemons you will love this. The recipe can be found here and I decided to make my own frosting. The lemon frosting is 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and one lemon zested and juiced, mix together (this only covered 1/2 of the cookies).

Its a lemon explosion lol.

On another note over the weekend I spent the day at the hospital with my cousin because he had surgery. It was a complicated and super risky procedure but he came out perfect with no complications. I started a new blanket the pattern can be found here. The squares are big and beautiful. Jerry and I had our 5th Anniversary on the 15th:) Holy moly we have been together for 5 years its gone by so fast.

We also went to see the Harry Potter movie. Now I can't wait to see the next Sherlock Holmes movie since I saw the previews:)

So this past week Jerry and I have been watching all the Harry Potter movies before we watch part 2. We just finished year six and we have one more left before the finale....

Unfortunately we won't be seeing the the final movie tonight but definitely on Saturday. I absolutely love, love, love all the Harry Potter movies. Woot! I can't wait:)

Updates!

Hello everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. This last weekend I completely relaxed and crafted:) and today I made some updates to my Etsy shop.

I liked making hair clips so much that I decided to make different types of fabric flowers and sell them in my shop. What do you think?

On the 4th I went to the Killebrew's in Brandon (Jerry's parents) to have BBQ Ribs and I decided to make mini fruit pizza's. I haven't had these in so long and they are so delicious I wanted to keep eating them:)

I found the recipe here but instead of making cookie dough I bought ready to bake cookie dough. The fruit I used was raspberry's, strawberry's, and blueberry's. I kept the red and blue theme:)

Hello There!

Woot its great to be back:) Sorry I have been MIA this past month. I have seriously neglected my blog but I have some new tutorials and shop updates. I can't wait to share them and I'm super excited:) Your probably wondering what have I been doing??? Well this past month I went to Michigan to spend some time with my family and figure a few things out:) I had so much fun surprising my Grandpa, going to my lil brother Ty's High School graduation/graduation party, my sister Kels 21st Birthday, Grandpas Birthday, Father's Day, the lake, and so much more. Here are a few pics.
