The Weekend!

I hope you all had a great Easter weekend! Here are a few iPhone pics of mine:) It was filled with unpacking, ceramic painting, making a carrot cake (recipe) it was super sweet but delicious, Italian, the fresh market, working on a special Birthday gift, and driving.

Its Approaching

Easter is right around the corner and I have so much to do. I've decided I'm going to make a carrot cake for Easter at the Killebrew's. This should be interesting.... Anyway I have made a few Easter gifts for my family this year. I made my mom, sisters Ashley and Kels pouches (tutorial found here).


I also made Kels a cute lil bunny headband from The Perfect Pear tutorial. It was perfect since Kels has two lil bunnys and she loves animals.

My dad and brother Ty's gift is going to be a little late but I will share pics soon (all about John Deere).

All Moved!

This past week/weekend we packed and moved all my stuff from Tampa to Orlando. I also helped Mr with his stuff. Both our apartments were on the second floor and our new one is on the third. It was torture trying to move everything and it was super hot. We are defiantly hiring movers next time. The up side is I get to decorate everything and I have a craft room:) YAY!

Tori and I have craft night a few nights a week and we both find new things to do every time. So I thought it would be a good idea to have crafty Tuesdays were its a diy tutorial roundup for projects. I participated in the Artichoke Designs handmade craft swap and I wanted to post the things I made my partner since she received her package. My partner was Jen over at StickyBlog. She listed a few colors she liked + sci-fi so I made her a granny square blanket and a Star Trek art piece. I'm so glad she liked them.

Weekend In Pics

Last weekend was awesome. I crafted with Tori, visited fabric shops, sewing, Mr surprised us with cupcakes from Orlando:), Starbucks, chocolate, Italian, cleaning, designing my new portfolio site, and lots of ice cream. What did you do last weekend?
