Top 3

Today I was thinking where would I go if I could drop everything and go on vacation? Well I do have a list of top 3 which are Europe, Australia, and Hawaii. Random I know but hands down I would defiantly go to Europe first. I love art and architecture so I would be in complete heaven:) Plus all the food and desserts. Italy is a must. I wanna go to Naples, Rome, Florence, and Venice.

Then the UK, France, Greece, Germany, Sweden and Jerry wants to go to Spain. My little sis Kels went to Sweden a few years ago and she loved it so much that she wants to go back soon:)

Europe is kinda big so this would have to be a very long vacation:) Do you have a list of top vacation places? Where would you wanna go?

Chocolates?

Here are a few pics from my weekend. Jerry and I went to the Millenia Mall where I got a few of Heidi Kenney's blind box dessert key chains and key caps. On a side note holy smokes look at this adorable tee over on kidrobot (ps I want).

We went to Ferris and Fosters to make our own chocolate. We went on date night which is Friday and made a pound of different kinds of chocolate. Jerry was a little hesitant cause hes like really another crazy idea but he loved it. They demonstrated how to make truffles, chocolate covered items like potato chips (delish), molds, cups, and fillings. It was so awesome and I'm defiantly going to do it again.

On Sunday I made Jerry some Star Wars buttermilk pancakes with some molds from Williams-Sonoma. These molds are kinda tricky but cool:) I also added a few more items to my shop.

Projects 2

Here are a few more projects I have been working on lately. I started another blanket using this pattern a few weeks ago. The pattern makes super big square blocks around 8"x8". A few down and may more to go...

I joined the friendship bracelet swap over on Julie's blog so I have been making a few bracelets for my partner. This swap has been really fun:) I also have been sewing two purses for some friends up north and hopefully fingers crossed will be finished soon. Its my first time using a pattern so its been a step by step process. Lastly, I'm making some new items to add in my etsy shop:)

Have you started any new projects?

Ruffles and Lace

Today I was looking through Pinterest (which is so inspiring) and found some really awesome tutorials with lace and ruffles. I love the pastel, girly, shabby chick look that comes along with these two:) Here is a tutorial on how to make a lace earring frame that is made of a few basic items and a decoupage lace planter. These are to cute.

Also here are a few more...

Rubber lace coasters, Lace earrings (so simple), Necklace, and Shabby flower pillow. I'm definitely going to make a few of these:)

Projects!

I have been working on some new projects and wanted to show you a sneak peek:) First I started a new granny square blanket out of all my yarn scraps. I'm really excited about it. There is no direction and its so colorful and bright.

Second I saw this owl cozy tutorial over on Elsie's blog awhile ago and decided to make one for my friend Tori. She loves pink and owls so it was perfect. I had to make it a bit bigger since she doesn't have an iphone.

I still have a couple things I want to show that I will be posting later this week. I hope your having a great weekend:)
